Please make sure that you have deposited with the University before registering for Orientation.
The January Orientation Program is designed to help new students become familiar with the campus, and receive relevant information about getting started at the University of New England. In addition, it includes academic advising, registration for spring semester classes, social activities, and opportunities to meet faculty, staff, and current students and connect with other new incoming students. You will receive answers to most, if not all, of your immediate questions regarding college and life at UNE.
Once you register we will be in contact to schedule appointments to meet your advisor and begin the process of registration. These appointments will take place starting December 2nd and can be in person or over the phone, depending on your availability and preference.
Students who will be living on campus and attending Spring Orientation are able to move into their residence hall on Monday, January 13. Check-in for resident students will be from 3–5 p.m. in the Campus Center with dinner and evening activities to follow.
Tuesday’s program will begin with check-in for commuting students starting at 10:00 AM in the Campus Center Lobby. The formal program will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 3:30 PM at which time campus tours will be available for interested students.
