Please make sure that you have deposited with the University before registering for Orientation.
The January Orientation Program is designed to help new students become familiar with the campus, and receive relevant information about getting started at the University of New England. In addition, it will include social activities and opportunities to meet faculty, staff, and current students and connect with other new incoming students. You will receive answers to most, if not all, of your immediate questions regarding college and life at UNE.
Once you register the department of Academic Advising will be in contact to schedule appointments to meet your advisor and begin the process of signing up for classes. These appointments will take place starting December 1st and will be done virtually via zoom or phone call. Students who will be living on campus and attending Spring Orientation are able to move into their residence hall on Thursday, January 14th, we will be in touch closer to the start of the semester with all the necessary details regarding the move-in process. Dinner and evening activities will follow move-in and serve as an excellent opportunity to meet your new classmates.
Commuting students will also need to participate in the health check-in process happening on Thursday, January 14th, we will be in touch closer to the start of the semester with all the necessary details regarding this process.
The formal Orientation program will begin with check-in at 10:00 AM in the Forum Lobby on Friday, January 15th. The formal program will begin at 10:45 AM and conclude at around 3:30 PM at which time campus tours will be available for interested students.
